Licensing Fees

New License

  • $50 for the initial licensing fee (one year license).
  • Applications received between January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2025 will not require an application fee.

Relicensing Applications

  • $50 for one year licensing fee.
  • $100 for two year licensing fee.

  • For licenses expiring:

    • December 31, 2023 or earlier: $50 licensing fee per year needs to be collected.
    • January 31, 2024 or later: No fee is required.
  • Fees will resume again in 2026 for on-going licenses.

How to Pay

Accepted payment types

    • Personal check.
    • Money order.
    • Cashier's check.
    • Credit card.

Pay online with a credit card

    • Visit WashingtonCo Pay Now.
    • Enter in your First and Last Name in the Account Number or Name field.
    • Enter your name again in the Confirm Account Number or Name field.
    • Select I'm Not a Robot.
    • Fill out the following sections:
      • Name
      • Phone
      • Email
      • Payment Amount
        • Payment Code: Select 13 - Child Care
      • Payment Method
      • Pay Date
      • Invoice or Reference Number: Type in what payment is for (child care license).
    • Continue to Payment and enter your payment details.
