Drop Box Services

Our secure drop box provides a quick and easy way to submit your tab renewal documents and payment. Simply drop off your materials, and we’ll handle the rest!

  • Processing time:  Estimated 1-3 business days.  
  • Tab delivery: Tabs will be mailed to the address on your registration form. 
  • In-Person Pickup: If you prefer to pickup tabs in person, include your phone number on the envelope. A staff member will contact you when your tabs are ready for pickup.


How to Renew Tabs at a Drop Box

WITH Renewal Notice:
  1. Complete renewal notice form and update current insurance information. Confirm the "county kept" on the renewal notice. If it is incorrect, write in the correct county.
  2. Include renewal notice + check or money order for the exact amount due in the envelope. 
  3. Write "Tabs" on the envelope and your phone number.
  4. Place the envelope in a drop box.
WITHOUT Renewal Notice:
  1. Print and complete the Tab Renewal Form (PDF) (one per vehicle).
  2. Include renewal notice + check or money order for the exact amount due in the envelope. 
  3. Write "Tabs" on the envelope and your phone number.
  4. Place the envelope in a drop box.

*Multiple tab renewals may be placed in one envelope. 


Accepted Payment Methods for Drop Box

  • Check or Money order only.
  • Make checks or money orders payable to Washington County. 
  • Include phone number and driver's license number on the payment.
