With the unseasonably warm temperatures we have seen thaw beginning in the parks. Due to unsafe conditions and trail damage, horse trails are temporarily closing at Pine Point Regional Park. Staff will monitor the conditions and if the ground hardens back up, trails will re-open.
The Gateway State Trail and horse trails at Lake Elmo Park Reserve currently remain open for horseback riding.
