A pavement preservation project will begin on County Highway 29 (Hilton Trail) the week of May 13 and conclude the week of May 20. Work will consist of removing and replacing 1-inch from the top of the existing pavement surface and installing new pavement markings. The project will take place between 62nd St to just south of County Highway 12 (75th St) and will improve the rideability and extend pavement life. Drivers should anticipate periodic delays during the work with one-way configurations and flaggers.
Project Scope
- Mill and Overlay of County Highway 29 (Hilton Trail) from 62nd Street North to Hallam Avenue South.
- Fog sealing of the shoulders and pavement striping.
- Work will be done under traffic with the use of flaggers.
- The project will be completed before the start of Phase 2 of the County Highway 12 Reconstruction project.
