Patrol Division
The Sheriff's Office Patrol Division serves the residents of 21 cities and townships in Washington County, which covers 423.61 square miles and includes seven county parks, two state parks and a state trail system.
The Patrol Division is home to 55 full-time deputies, six K-9s, 10 sergeants, and one commander.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office offers several community engagement based services as well, including D.A.R.E. instruction, community engagement events, and crime prevention presentations.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office provides resources to community members, organizations, and businesses to prevent and reduce crime and victimization through a wide-variety of community policing, crime prevention, and public education programs. It is the goal of the Washington County Sheriff's Office to partner with citizens in promoting safe communities and engaged citizens.
