Simple Swaps to Reduce Plastic Use

If you missed this month's Plastic-Free Challenge, don't worry! Here are some easy swaps you can make today to reduce your reliance on plastics.

  • Use a reusable brush/roller instead of a disposable one.
  • Use wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets.
  • Use beeswax wrap instead of plastic wrap.
  • Use a metal safety razor instead of plastic, disposable razors.
  • Use bar soap instead of bottled liiquid soap.
  • Use Swedish dishcloths instead of paper towels.

Although some may have slightly higher upfront costs, they last longer which might just save you money in the long run! Your local bulk store can also offer more options to reduce your plastic waste in daily food, household item, and cosmetic purchases.
