Washington County, in partnership with the City of Forest Lake, has a rehabilitation project planned for County Highway 2 (Broadway Avenue) from the I-35 northbound ramps to Trunk Highway 61 (Lake Street).

Project Update

You may have noticed that work did not start as planned for the County Highway 2 (Broadway Avenue) Rehabilitation Project. Washington County received unfavorable bids for 2024 construction and is now targeting construction in the Spring of 2025. Another pre-construction public open house event will be planned for early spring once the project is rebid and the new construction details are confirmed. The best way to stay informed with project updates is through the project website. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the Broadway corridor.
